RED Original Accessories
RED are arguably best known for their high quality Paddleboards.
Over the past 10 years Red Paddle Co has grown in to a world-leading paddleboard brand, built on the ethos of designing quality, no compromise products.
Beyond the boards however, they were “frustrated that well thought out products designed for our sport and lifestyle were still missing.”
Through this their accessories range was born… a premium range of things that they really wanted.
Over the past few months some of the WWW Team have been test running some of these products and seeing if they stand up to our own adventure needs.
Here’s what we thought…

Womens PRO Changing Robe
Bex
This robe is now a permanent fixture in my gear line-up when I head out for swims or need a discreet way to get changed after riding my mountain bike.
I have really been enjoying rolling out of bed in the morning, throwing on a costume, and then the robe to drive to meet my friends for a pre work dip in Derwent Water near Keswick.
I love the soft luxurious lining and it just feels wonderfully warm when you have gotten super cold. The pockets are deep, which makes loading them up with snacks and hot beverages very easy.
To say I’d be lost without this robe is an understatement.
Kate
The Red changing robe is a game changer for me. I have used it in the colder months after wild swims & it has encouraged me to be able to do more winter wild swimming than I usually have purely because I know I am going to be cosy and warm minutes after swimming. It was always being cold afterwards that put me off and now I don’t have to worry.
I have also used it after along days on the mountain bike, the best example would be when I did a 12 hour ride in 11.5 hours of torrential rain, getting back to the van and wrapping up in the changing robe, was very welcome, dry and warm in minutes. I have used it after paddle boarding, surfing, swimming, and mountain biking so a good all-round test.
The robe is really spacious so plenty of room to get dressed / undressed discreetly. The lining is so soft and dries quickly so I don’t have to worry about using a towel before I put it on. It is always in the back of my car these days; I take it everywhere I go.
One of my other favourite uses of the changing robe is round the camp fire, later on at night when the temperatures drop, it’s great for keeping the chill off. Also perfect for a long length waterproof for walking the dog on the wet days.

30L Cooler Bag
Gilly
This cooler bag really is incredible.
Weighing in at about £175 sounds like a lot for something to keep lunch and drinks cool but hold on.
The construction of this bag is bullet proof and beautifully designed to fit safely and securely onto your paddleboard.
The thermal lock insulation will last about 72 hours to keep drinks cold and though I didn’t try to fill it this full I have read it can hold up to 54 cans of craft IPA. (Other beers available)
I took the cooler bag and my Red compact SUP to Abersoch a few weeks ago. I was going to be on a beach then paddling to some cliffs nearby and to be honest was unsure how zips mixed with big waves, salt waters and sand would work together.
The neat aqua seal zip with welded seams ensure the cool bag stays 100% waterproof and watertight (even if it accidentally falls over board) Included for maintenance is a neat lip balm looking stick l to apply as maintenance if the zip becomes stuck after misuse. A nice touch.
I’m a sucker for a quality zip having worked in the outdoor industry for decades to it’s not surprise to hear it’s a YKK zip with a super action. I’m a zip geek.
Surprisingly for something so large and heavy when fully loaded it was easy to carry the half a mile to the beach over my shoulder. It has two neat outside pockets if you want to store a drink when paddling, without opening the main body.
As you would absolutely expect from Red the thought in the construction materials used and overall slickness make this quite literally the coolest bag for a cool bag I have ever used.
Worth the money?
Absolutely?
Buy once – buy right and buy for life. It’s simple.
Thanks Red, looking forward to packing this hard for some longer expeditions or maybe a 53 IPA party with 53 friends.
22L SUP Deck Bag
Sarah
Now this is one very useful bag!
One thing I hugely dislike in kit is faff.
The perks to this deck bag for me were 100% the easy access when on the water… minimizing the chances of falling in mid rummage!
Its super roomy with water bottle holders either side (again easy access) with plenty of space inside for enough kit and snacks for a full day on the water.
I’ve currently only used it for short evening trips, where a middle of the lake snack and chill were required but none the less everything inside came back dry as a bone.
The construction just screams attention to detail & quality and I had no worries popping my valuables inside before embarking on my SUP adventure. The zip is proper hardcore… as I learned from Gilly, a YKK zip which is apparently “best totally waterproof zip you can get” & I’ve no reason to argue with that! Combined with welded seams for added protection.
The removable internal skeleton means its pretty adaptable to have a more structured bag or something which will pack down depending on what you are carrying. There’s also lots of opportunity to add / clip on accessories externally as required.
I can’t wait to take it on a big day out!
Just tipping over the £100 mark it is on the higher end of my kit budget but when you know its going to be something you have for years to come its worth the investment in my opinion.
